It's not just the battery life that's an issue with the color phones, the
displays are difficult to read outdoors. Plus there is little reason for a
    color display on a phone.

I already ordered, and it was shipped today.
    Thanks.

Just got my wife's V60s today, got mine two weeks ago. I activated mine
yesterday, after the sync software upgrade to support the V60s/V60p was
released (no way was I going to key in 250 phone book entries).

Looks like another classic phone, judging from the eBay prices. I knew there
would be a benefit from Verizons botched PTT service.

Okay, BUT, is there really no alarm or countdown timer? Ach! I use those
feature daily on my old Kyocera 2135, and don't know if I can live without!

You can use the alarm feature tied to the Datebook entries.

This seems very awkward, lots of keypresses, and it only beeps once. Not
really an alarm. Maybe there are settings I'm missing at first glance...

Within your ringer profile for each ring style, you can set the alarm to ANY
ringtone. Once you get used to it, it is very easy to use.

That sounds hopeful. I'll look in to it further. Thanks!
