The Verizon Droid Charge apparently did not keep its original launch date of April 28th, but good news for those Verizon customers who have been waiting for the Droid Charge. The handset is now available via Verizon with a price tag of $300 along with a two year Verizon contract agreement.

Features of the Verizon Droid Charge include: Android 2.2 , a 1GHz single-core Hummingbird processor, Gorilla Glass, Mobile hotspot app preloaded, and 4G LTE support.

The Droid Charge is said to have a better battery life and runs faster than the HTC Thunderbolt that some may have been waiting for. If you think the $300.00 price tag is too high, you can head on over to Amazon where they have the same device listed for $249.99
