Info Verizon phone warranty on a defective phone

    If you find that your phone is defective (mechanical or electrical) in some way, there is a 1 year period where you can get it replaced for free. Just call Verizon customer service: (800) 922-0204

    Verizon will have to verify that there is an actual defect.

    If you are beyond the 1 year warranty period and you don't have insurance or an extended warranty on your phone, then you'll either have to get a new phone at full retail, buy it used on eBay, or get a certified pre-owned phone from Verizon (if you haven't already in the past year).
