I have a Verizon LG Voyager VX10000 Titanium and everytime it shuts off, turns on, immediately before it receives a call, immediately before I make a call, the most f__king annoying voice says "verizon wireless" every single damn time. It started happening like a week ago (I have no clue why) and frankly, its f__king pissing me off and annoying the hell out of me.

Sorry for the crude language but I make tons of calls every week and its annoying as hell. I'm fed up with this. Can anyone give me a hand with this?

    Thanks in advance

You have ERI (sometimes known as Service Alerts) turned on.

This just lets you know which network you're using (Verizon Wireless, roaming, etc).

Go into sound settings-->service alerts (or something like that) and turn ERI sounds off.
